I want to change someone’s world. I want to make someone the happiest they could ever imagine being. I want to take someone’s pain away. I have so much love to give and I want someone to want it and want to return it. I want someone to choose me day after day after day after day after day and make me feel and know that they’ll choose me every day for the rest of their life.
A year ago I landed in Brussels at the Zaventem Airport. A vivid memory that replayed in my mind this morning after the news of todays vicious attacks. I made my exit from the plane and down the gangway, the terminal was elegantly decorated with flowers hanging from the ceiling. It was an artistic yet simple touch that brought a smile to my face. As I navigated my way towards customs I found myself following behind a young couple. Although we didn’t share the same language their smiles and laughter universally communicated emotion filling the halls. I had just touched down in a new country that was to be called home for the next 6 months. A country where I was welcomed with open arms by some of the greatest people and experiences I have ever known. My thoughts and prayers are with Brussels tonight. Je suis de tout coeur avec le peuple belge. Je pense à vous. (at Brussels Airport (BRU))
